Dr. Member Ahemen is an Associate Professor of Development Economics at Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurd. She hold Bachelor of Science degree at Benue Stat University, Mkaurdi in 2004, Master’s degree and Doctoral degree at the same university in 2011 and 2017.She is a member of the Nigerian Economic Society.

She has served in various positions including Faculty Examinations Officer, Departmental Examination Officer, and Representative of Postgraduate to award of several Master and Doctoral degrees. She has 25 publications in academic journals and books.
