Professor Adejo Okwori hold Bachelor of Education degree (B. Ed.) at Ahmadu Bello University (1990), Master of Education degree at University of Jos (1993), Doctor of Philosophy degree at University of Nigeria, Nsuka (2003) and Global Certified Accreditor of the Global University Network for Innovation (Africa) and the African Quality Assurance Network (2021).

He has worked as Chief Education Officer with Benue State Teaching Service Board (1978-1993), and later moved to Faculty of Education, Benue State University, Makurdi in 1993. He served the university as Departmental Examination Officer (1994-1997), Committee to design social studies course online for Sandwich programme (1997), pre-primary and primary education planning program committee (2005), Time-table committee, DACE programme (2001-2004), Coordinator General Studies ( 2004-2009), Departmental Postgraduate (2006), Chairman, committee to design PhD Educational Management programme (2009-2010), and Head of department (2011-2013).

Professor Okwori is a member of several academic professional bodies including Commonwealth Council for Educational Administration and Management, Nigerian Social studies Teachers’ Association, Council of Fellows, Association of the promotion of quality education in Nigeria, Councilman Institute of Corporate Administration, and Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria among others.

Prof. Okwori has groundbreaking research titled, Practical Approach to Educational Planning” (2005). Professor Okwori is currently with Legacy College of Management and Administration, Keffi as Director, Academic Planning and Quality Assurance.
